Once you apply for an Assignment it WILL NOT go into effect UNTIL a member of the Staff approves of it. Once an Assignment does get approved, the creator of said Assignment can then start the thread. Ensure that the thread is titled the same name as the Assignment. Anyone can create an Assignment, they aren't story-driven for the role-play unless it's an Administrator who creates the Assignment in question and even then, it will likely be at a larger scale. Use the Assignment creation to your advantage to "drive" your character's personal development in the forum and also because it helps you acquire bonus Points.
